Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cup red lentil soaked for 4 hours


  • 1 tbsp saunf (fennel seeds)


  • 1 tbsp dhaniya seeds


  • 1-tsp salt


  • 1 big onion finely chopped


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp dhaniya jeera powder


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida


  • 1 tsp grated garlic


  • 1-Cup oil to fry the pakoda

Directions

  • Grind soaked red lentil, saunf, dhaniya seeds and salt together adding very little water.
  • Now add chopped onion, garlic, turmeric powder, dhaniya jeera powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida and mix well.
  • Heat oil in kadhai and fry all small size pakoda on medium flame till crispy. Arrange 3 pakoda in 1 stick and serve hot in a plate.
